Prompt: stress-test your AI policy on real situations

Ask an AI to judge five real situations against your AI policy, quoting the rule each time. It shows you where your team would hesitate, before it happens.

Works with: ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini

The task

Find the gaps in your AI policy by checking it against real situations from your week.

Prompt
Here is our company's one-page AI policy:

<policy>
[PASTE YOUR POLICY]
</policy>

For each situation below, answer ALLOWED, NOT ALLOWED or UNCLEAR.
Quote the exact line of the policy you relied on.
If UNCLEAR, say in one sentence what the policy is missing.

1. [A REAL SITUATION FROM YOUR WEEK]
2. [...]
3. [...]
4. [...]
5. [...]

How to use it

  1. Write five situations that really happen in your business, including one involving a job applicant or a recorded call.
  2. Paste your policy and the situations into the prompt and run it.
  3. Fix every rule behind an UNCLEAR answer, then run it again until nothing is unclear.

What you get

For each situation: ALLOWED, NOT ALLOWED or UNCLEAR, the exact line of your policy it relied on, and a list of gaps to fix.

Example answer we got
1. NOT ALLOWED
> "For client work, use approved tools only, with your work account; never a personal account."
This breaks two rules. A notice of assessment is also RED, because it holds a client's personal and financial information.

3. NOT ALLOWED
> "It never decides alone about a person (hiring, discipline, credit, an individual client's price or file). A person makes the call."
The AI can score and sort the applications. The automatic rejection is what breaks the rule.

Gaps to fix in version 2
- Job applicants: RED covers only "clients or employees." Applicants are neither, so the policy doesn't say whether CVs can go into an AI tool at all.
